Remove both credentials for the affected Gmail account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Optional: To identify the correct Gmail account before deleting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open Registry Editor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nPaste this path in the address bar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Computer\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Office\\16.0\\Common\\Identity\\Identities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nCheck the Identity subkeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The number at the beginning of the identity key matches the number in the MicrosoftOffice16_Data credential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After removing the credentials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open Outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Go to the affected profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click Sign in via browser in the Outlook notification bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sign in to your Gmail account again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remove access for Microsoft Apps & Services in Gmail (Fix Gmail in Outlook Sync)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Close Outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
*May not be needed*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nGo to google.com and sign in to your Google account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Select Manage your Google Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the left menu, click Security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scroll to Your connections to third-party apps & services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Select Microsoft apps & services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Find Microsoft apps & services has some access to your Google Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click See details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under Access you\u2019ve given to Microsoft apps & services, click Remove all access. This should reset the Gmail in Outlook sync, and you can try again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
